At Hovat Limited, we’re passionate about the flexible packaging solutions we bring to market – and it’s the people behind the scenes who bring that passion to life.

Meet Siddhartha Gurung (Sid), a member of our reprographics team, who brings together his creative flair and technical expertise to help turn ideas into finished packaging.

Starting his career as a junior designer in London, Sid developed a sharp creative eye before transitioning into print production. Since joining Hovat over a year ago, he’s embraced his new role in reprographics and quickly become an important part of the team.

In his role, Sid works across the full artwork process for a wide range of clients and household brands, preparing artwork and printing plates for various flexible packaging formats – including stick packs, flow wraps, sachets, pillow packs, and pouches. Working closely with the food industry, his work also supports household, cosmetics, horticulture, and pet markets.

Sid plays an essential role in ensuring every design is production-ready and up to the highest standards. His attention to detail and understanding of both design and print make him an invaluable part of the Hovat team.

It’s celebrations today at Hovat Folkestone for our 1 year anniversary of trading! 🎉

Our Kent based production facility was acquired by Grafham Holdings in March 2024 making an exciting expansion for our business. We now operate alongside Hovat Maidstone which has been established for over 50 years bringing decades of expertise to the partnership. The move strengthens our overall presence in the print and packaging sector, bringing offset printing alongside our well established flexo printing capability to the flexible product packaging range. Together, the two locations are set to drive growth and innovation in primary food packaging and other similar sectors under Grafham Holdings leadership.

Charlene Egan, Commercial Manager, said ‘Today is a big day for us. It’s been quite a journey for the team, our customers and everyone involved in the business. We are so proud to be in the position of being able to drive the business forward and make strategic plans after all pulling together – Happy Birthday Hovat Folkestone!’
