Cost-effective and easy to use
Gummed Paper Tape and reinforced Gummed Paper Tape are modern products, applied using a range of dispensers, from small hand-held applicators, through to fully utomatic case sealers. Because of the strength of plain and reinforced Gummed Paper Tape and its ease of adjustment after application, much less – and narrower – tape can be used, compared with filmic tapes. There is a considerable material and labour cost advantage to be gained.

An integral enclosure The water-activated adhesives in Gummed Paper Tape
penetrate right into the liner of the carton, creating a total bond. The tape has become
part of the carton and adds strength to it.

100% recyclability Gummed Paper Tape is made from renewable natural resources, which makes recycling easier. packaging research associations in Germany (PTS), the Netherlands (TNO) and the United Kingdom (PIRA) have all accredited Gummed Paper Tape as recyclable. Use of Gummed Paper Tape on cartons eliminates additional recycling costs.

Tamper evidence Gummed Paper Tape cannot be removed from the carton without leaving traces of damage. Such a closure provides protection against theft. Specialist tamper-evident reinforced Gummed Paper Tape is available to give even more protection.

Temperature-tolerant Even extreme variations in temperature do not change the characteristics of Gummed Paper Tape. In extreme heat, sunshine, humidity and cold, it still maintains its seal strength. The closure is resistant to aging as well. Even after many years, the contents will not be exposed.
