Located in Larkfield, Kent and operating from a new 85,000 ft² production facility, Hovat Limited is one of the UK's largest and most progressive printers and converters of specialist substrates and adhesive laminates.

The company's business activities fall into two divisions.

Labels And Tapes
Hovat is one of the UK's largest "independent" converters of standard unprinted adhesive labels, whilst also retaining extensive capacity in the variable information printed (VIP) label sector.

With 25 million square metres of labelstock conversion capacity per annum allied to the power of its newly acquired "Ascom" brand, Hovat has the manufacturing, marketing and distribution capacity to handle all needs in the standard and VIP label sector.


Printing And Converting
Hovat is probably the UK's largest flexographic printer of laminates for use in the food industry.

Notable for its technical excellence and capability in the field of packaging foils and "wraps" for the butter, margarine and lard sector.

Notable also is the strength of the company in the specialist areas of sachets and pouches for the distribution of sugar, soup, tea, coffee and powdered milks and creamers.

Hovat products can be found in all major retail stores, hotels, restaurants and tourist outlets. From Tesco's to MacDonalds and from the Hilton to the British Museum!

The entire Hovat team, covering internal and external sales, planning, production and factory personnel is committed to achieving total customer satisfaction. Our modern factory units, which comply with current environmental, health and safety legislation, as befits a food associated operation, lie just five minutes from the M20 motorway, giving speedy access to the UK motorway system and into continental Europe. We are just 40 minutes from the Channel Tunnel.

Over 25,000 square feet of warehouse space. Within the site we have sufficient capacity for the storage of both finished goods and raw materials, to enable us to effect deliveries on a just-in-time basis.

Quality is uppermost throughout every facet of our business and our water based printing ink dispense system ensures complete computerised control, not only over correct ink quantities but in delivering precise colour recipes consistently.
